Jonathan Funk

Jonathan Funk has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Geological Advisor at EOG Resources since November 2015, focusing on oil and gas exploration as well as carbon capture and storage solutions. Prior roles include Exploration Manager at Sustainable Power Group, where Jonathan concentrated on carbon capture initiatives, and various managerial and geological positions at Marathon Oil Corporation, contributing to exploration and development projects across multiple regions, including the Bakken and Africa. Jonathan's academic background includes a B.S. in Geology from Texas A&M University and an M.S. in Geology from the University of Oklahoma, complemented by multiple internships in geological mapping and analysis throughout early career stages.
