Neil Persad has extensive experience in environmental health and safety (EH&S) within the oil and gas sector, currently serving as EH&S Manager at EOG Resources since December 2012, following roles as Senior EH&S Coordinator and EH&S Coordinator II. Prior to this, Neil held the position of HSE Manager at SINOPEC from September 2009 to December 2012 and served as HSE Coordinator at Primera Oilfield Management Services Ltd. from September 2008 to September 2009. Earlier experience includes positions as Production Supervisor and Technical Assistant at Primera Oilfield Management Services Ltd. from April 2001 to September 2006. Neil is pursuing a Master of Science in Health Safety & Environment and Occupational Hygiene at the University of Greenwich, with previous academic qualifications including a Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental & Natural Resource Management & Geography, alongside a diploma in Environmental Engineering Technology.
