Sandy McKinnon

Sandy McKinnon is a Partner at Pentech Ventures, focusing on investments in early-stage machine learning and scalable technology companies in the UK since June 2001. In addition to this role, Sandy serves as a Board Member for companies including Lifebit, nPlan, Stacker, and eola. Prior experience includes consulting for Advanced Marketing Solutions and serving as Director of Knowledge Transfer at Heriot-Watt University, where Sandy facilitated technology transfer and helped incorporate 15 companies, raising over £4.2 million. Previous roles also include managerial positions at Sagentia and Scientific Generics, and a postdoctoral fellowship in nanotechnology at the University of Cambridge. Sandy holds a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of Dundee.
