David Chuter is an international independent cancer patient advocate specializing in oesophageal-gastric cancer. Currently, they serve as Chair of the Independent Cancer Patients Voice (ICPV) and the EORTC Patient Panel, as well as Vice Chair of the Board for Digestive Cancers Europe. With extensive involvement in multiple organizations including Cancer Research UK and the NIHR, David's advocacy work focuses on enhancing patient support and involvement in cancer research. They were also a co-founder of OG Cancer Project, contributing significantly to the welfare of cancer patients and their families. Prior to their advocacy career, David worked as a print specialist and consultant.
