Chris Acosta

Senior Electrical Engineer & Systems Engineer at EOTECH

Chris Acosta is an experienced Electrical and Systems Engineer who has worked with various companies and organizations over the years. Chris served as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Systems Engineer at EOTECH and L3Harris Technologies, respectively. While at Ford Motor Company, Chris Acosta was responsible for developing embedded systems for vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and worked as a Payload Specialist, Digital Systems Processing Lead, and Electronic Systems Lead at the University of Michigan. Additional work experiences include serving as a Lab Assistant at the Lurie Nanofabrication Facility, a Research Fellow and Research Intern at GALT RESEARCH LAB, and as a Physics Study Group Leader/Tutor at Washtenaw Community College. Before starting their career in engineering, Chris Acosta served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, where they were responsible for the deployment, operation, and maintenance of network and radio communications for helicopter squadrons.

Chris Acosta began their education at Washtenaw Community College in 2008, where they studied Physics from 2008 to 2010. Chris then pursued a BSE degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Signals Processing and Antenna Design at the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2013. Later, from 2015 to 2020, Chris pursued a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
