Daniel Nunes is an agronomist with a doctorate in Soil and Plant Nutrition. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at Fapemig and manager of the school farm at the Instituto Tecnológico de Agropecuária de Pitangui, they are focused on recovering agricultural areas impacted by dam failures. Daniel holds a bachelor's degree from UFRN and both a master's and doctorate from UFV, where they studied the rupestrian fields of the Quadrilátero Ferrífero. Throughout their education, they engaged in waste management, soil quality, agroecology, and led initiatives supporting family farmers. Daniel aims to contribute to social and environmental development and is open to collaborative opportunities.
