Richard Hua is a Protocol Engineer with extensive experience in software development, particularly in backend engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at XMTP Labs, Richard is focused on building decentralized and end-to-end encrypted messaging protocols. Previously, Richard held significant roles at Facebook, contributing to the development of the Vanish Mode feature and group video calling in Messenger, while also mentoring interns.
