Pratap Malik

Dr. Malik is a serial entrepreneur, thought leader and strategist. Prior to joining Ephicacy’s Board of Directors, Dr. Malik was the Vice President, Business Development at Phase Forward (now Oracle) where he led global sales and marketing for the Waban Software Group product lines and was responsible for spearheading multimillion dollar deals with several pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

As co-founder of Waban Software Dr. Malik pioneered and led the conceptualization and successful commercialization of “Statistical Computing Environment” and “Clinical Data Repository” for control and management of data and analyses in the FDA regulated drug development industry. Dr. Malik is also cofounder of Sycamore Informatics and currently heads the business strategy at Sycamore Informatics.

Dr. Malik received his Ph.D. from Stanford University, and has held academic positions at Harvard University and at the University of Cambridge.
