Daniel Haddad is an accomplished gameplay design professional with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Gameplay Design Director at Epic Games since April 2024, Haddad previously held various roles at Blizzard Entertainment from July 2017 to April 2024, including Associate Director of Activities and Lead Encounter Designer on an unannounced survival game. Prior to this, Haddad was the Design Director and Lead Designer for Dungeon Defenders II at Trendy Entertainment Inc. from January 2013 to July 2017. As the Founder and Director of Cwerki Studios from July 2011 to January 2013, Haddad developed the debut game Min: A Space Adventure. Early career contributions include mentorship roles at the American University of Beirut, where Haddad also served as a Game Designer in Residence. Additionally, Haddad co-founded D4W Development, which produced Tale of a Tree Wisp, a project that achieved recognition in the Lebanese Microsoft Imagine Cup Competition. Daniel Haddad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut, awarded in 2009.
