Jim Jackson

Jim Jackson is a seasoned animation professional with extensive experience in both 3D and 2D animation. Currently serving as a Senior Animator at Epic Games since February 2023, Jim specializes in game play for Lego Fortnite. Previously, Jim held the position of Lead Animator at Skydance Animation from May 2021 to February 2023 and worked as a 3D/2D Character Animator at Blue Sky Studios from January 2010 to April 2021. Jim’s career spans several prominent companies, including a tenure as Lead Character Animator at n-Space, Senior Lead Character Animator at Electronic Arts Tiburon, and Supervising Animator at Walt Disney Feature Animation, where Jim developed significant skills over a period of more than a decade. Jim began the professional journey as an Illustrator at Artists Studios after earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Columbus College of Art & Design in 1988.
