Robert Castle

Robert Castle is a Senior Engine Software Engineer at Epic Games, a position held since 2025. Previously, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple from 2018 to 2025, contributing to the Vision Pro project and collaborating on research that resulted in published papers. Robert also served as a Computer Vision Scientist at 2d3, a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, and was the Director at Egomotion Limited from 2011 to 2018. Their early career included a role as a Technologist for the UK Government. Robert holds a D.Phil from the University of Oxford and an M.Eng from the University of Leeds.
