Jonathan Moore

Jonathan Moore is a Liberal Democrat Councillor for the Quays Ward of Salford, elected in May 2024. Currently serving as Board Chair for The Counselling and Family Centre and as a Non-Executive Director & Chair of Governance and Remuneration Committee at EPIC Housing, Jonathan is also the Board Vice Chair and Chair of the Oversight and Risk Board Sub-Committee for Fair Credit Charity. With a career spanning nearly 30 years in the mutual sector, Jonathan has held various roles including Trustee of the Leek Building Society Charitable Foundation, Director at Merchants Quay Residents Association Limited, and Consultant at Jonathan Moore Consultancy Services. Previously, Jonathan was the Chief Executive of Stockport Credit Union, focusing on modernization and financial stability. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Economic History from the University of York, Jonathan has dedicated efforts to support vulnerable communities while driving social good initiatives across various organizations.
