Bryan Sánchez Ortiz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Bryan began their career as a Customer Service Representative at Convergys, providing technical support to clients of Comcast. Bryan then transitioned to a role as an IT Support Engineer at Tek Experts, where they supported customers of HP with Project Management software and worked with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Following that, Bryan worked as a Web Developer at GBS Data Corporation, responsible for front and back-end development of the company's internal website. Bryan then joined Crux Consultores as a Software Developer, working on national applications such as SINPEMovil for Banco Central de Costa Rica and Ministerio de Hacienda.
Bryan continued to grow their career at EX2 Outcoding as a Software Developer, where they provided support and solutions to client requests related to SQL and C#. Bryan then joined Fiserv as a Senior Software Developer, developing software for banking applications and fraud detection for major US banks using .Net and C#.
Currently, Bryan is employed at EPIC Software Development as a Full Stack Developer, working on banking applications for a prominent Credit Union in the United States. Bryan utilizes C#, .Net, WebAPI, and Console Application for the back-end and multiple database engines.
Throughout their career, Bryan has utilized various technologies and followed agile practices, such as Clean Code and SCRUM. Bryan has also taken on mentoring and job monitoring responsibilities, showcasing their ability to contribute to team development and support.
Bryan Sánchez Ortiz earned a Licenciatura degree in Gestión de proyectos de tecnología de la información from Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica. Bryan attended this university from 2015 to 2018.
Prior to their time at Universidad Estatal a Distancia, Bryan obtained a Bachillerato degree in Ingeniería de sistemas from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. This degree was earned from 2011 to 2014.
Before pursuing their degree at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, Bryan completed a Tecnicatura in Tecnología/Técnico de electrónica industrial at Colegio Vocacional Monseñor Sanabria. Bryan attended this vocational school from 2007 to 2010.
In addition to their formal education, Bryan has also obtained certification as a Scrum Master from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Bryan received this certification in June 2019.
