Alex Wang

Alex Wang is a Technical Coordinator (Technical Account Manager) at Epic since June 2020, following a dynamic role as a Technical Solutions Engineer focused on inpatient clinical documentation. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Lab Assistant at the Belger Neurocognition and Imaging Research Lab from August 2018 to May 2020, where involvement in undergraduate research began. Alex was also the Vice President of Programming for the Carolina Union Activities Board from April 2017 to May 2020, overseeing multiple committees and previously serving as the Films Committee Chair. Early experiences include a Legal Office Assistant position at the UNC Office of University Counsel and leadership in the Air Force ROTC as Ops Group Deputy Commander. Alex's first professional position was as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator at AICPA in the summer of 2017. The educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Biostatistics and Economics, with a minor in Mathematics from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, completed in 2020.
