Brian Deng

Brian Deng is an experienced application consultant currently working at Epic since July 2019, specializing in outpatient clinical applications for various healthcare systems, including Baylor College of Medicine and Broward Health. Previously held roles include application manager and coordinator, leading implementations across multiple healthcare organizations. Brian's expertise covers a range of Epic applications, such as Ambulatory, MyChart, and Behavioral Health. Prior to Epic, research assistant roles at UChicago Medicine involved studies on sleep and metabolism, as well as heart failure clinical trials. Additional experience includes teaching and mentoring in academic and extracurricular settings, with a strong commitment to enhancing critical-thinking skills among students. Brian holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Port Moody Secondary School.
