Hannah So

Hannah So is a highly engaged individual with diverse experience in leadership and research. As Co-Director of Hoos First Look, Hannah has played a critical role in supporting first-generation, low-income high school students in navigating the college application process. Previous experience includes serving as an Orientation Leader at the University of Virginia, where collaborations introduced university traditions to incoming students, and as a Facilitator for the Asian Pacific American Leadership Training Institute, focusing on leadership development for Asian and Pacific Islander students. In the role of Researcher at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Hannah conducted research on cryptosporidium and its impact on children in developing countries. Currently, Hannah works as a Project Manager at Epic, managing Beaker projects with specialized certifications. With a Bachelor of Arts in Global Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia, Hannah exemplifies a commitment to community engagement and academic excellence.
