Issay Barry

Issay Barry possesses a diverse range of experience in educational, research, and managerial roles. As a Program Specialist at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Issay mentored children aged 5-17 to promote workplace readiness and positive mental health. During tenure as a Desk Specialist at Brown Science and Engineering Library, operations and customer service were managed effectively. At the Center for Behavioral Health & Technology, Issay contributed as a Research Assistant, conducting usability testing and organizing sensitive data for clinical trials. Experience as a Teaching Assistant with America Reads*America Counts involved tutoring children with learning and emotional needs. Currently, as a Research Manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Issay oversees laboratory functionality, leads recruitment efforts, and trains research assistants, while also managing critical data analysis. Recently appointed as a Project Manager at Epic, Issay continues to build a solid foundation in cognitive science, holding a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a high school diploma from C. Leon King High School.
