Dr. Jihad Kudsi is the Chair of the Department of Surgery and the medical director of the Bariatric Surgery program at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth. They serve on the Clinical Board of Directors at Duly Health and Care and are a spokesperson for The Obesity Society. Dr. Kudsi holds dual board certifications in General Surgery and Obesity Medicine and has a special interest in laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. They completed a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital and obtained an MBA and a Master in Finance from Indiana University.
