Michael Saito possesses extensive experience in operations and leadership within the healthcare technology sector. Currently serving as Director at Epic since January 2018, Michael spearheads strategy and product development related to the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement, facilitating secure health record exchange among various stakeholders. In addition, Michael holds multiple key roles, including Presiding Officer for the TEFCA Policy and Technical Advisory Group at The Sequoia Project, Board Member for the Shift Health Care Task Force, and Chair of the Privacy and Security Workgroup for the Electronic Health Record Association. Michael is an advocate for healthcare privacy, cybersecurity policies, and patient control over health records.
