Rashid Kolaghassi

Rashid Kolaghassi designs and builds software that enables safe access and sharing of healthcare data, with a focus on improving health outcomes. Currently a Software Architect at Epic, Rashid works on innovative solutions for data-driven healthcare. In 2023, they researched privacy and quality in synthetic data generation at Red Hat Collaboratory, following substantial achievements during their undergraduate studies at Boston University, where they graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in Machine Learning. Rashid's past research projects include developing deep learning models for energy absorption prediction and creating sustainable solar-grade silicon processes.
