Dan Lyden is a staff engineer at Epiq Solutions. Dan has also worked as a principal software engineer at Harman International, a software engineering consultant at Triumph Group, and a DSP firmware engineer at Natus Medical.
Lyden began their career as a systems engineer at Rockwell Collins in 2006. Dan moved to Woodward, Inc. the following year, where they worked as a software engineer until 2010. Dan then became a software engineering consultant at Triumph Group, working on prototypes for control systems applications using Simulink/Matlab Code Generation. In 2012, they joined Natus Medical as a DSP firmware engineer.
At Natus Medical, Lyden was responsible for reverse engineering and porting an embedded newborn hearing testing device (Analog Devices 21xx DSP), as well as developing a Matlab simulation of an existing ABR (auditory brainstem response) hearing screening algorithm. Dan also wrote Android applications and services to interact with various device drivers. In September 2012, they joined Harman International as a principal software engineer.
Lyden has been with Epiq Solutions since March 2019.
Dan Lyden has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Boardman High School diploma.
