Laura O'Connor

Laura O'Connor is a seasoned professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in business development and engineering. Currently serving as the Business Development Representative for the Ground Support division at Epiroc since January 2022, Laura previously held various roles at Sibanye-Stillwater from June 2018 to January 2022, including Mine Operations Supervisor and Engineer focused on rock mechanics and ventilation. Laura's early experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at the University of Nevada Reno, a Mining Engineering Internship at Newmont Corporation, and practical roles in tour guiding and engineering internships. Laura holds a Master of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
