Tim Sturm has extensive work experience in the legal field, spanning various roles over the years. Tim most recently served as the Vice President & Chief Counsel - Americas at Epiroc since October 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Corporate Counsel - Operations at Republic Services from May 2013 to October 2017. Tim also held the position of VP & Segment General Counsel at Schlumberger, specialized in drilling tools and advanced technologies, from June 2006 to May 2013. Before that, they served as the Senior Corporate Counsel at Dynegy from December 2003 to June 2006. Tim Sturm began their legal career as the Special Counsel for the Enron Bankruptcy Estate at Enron from October 2002 to November 2003. Tim then became the General Counsel at Novoforum, Inc. from July 2001 to September 2002. Tim also worked as an Assistant General Counsel at Altra Energy Technology from November 1999 to June 2001 and at Lockheed Martin from November 1997 to October 1999. Tim first started their legal profession as a Judge Advocate and Attorney Advisor in the US Army from September 1990 to October 1997.
Tim Sturm completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Southwestern University from 1983 to 1987. Tim then went on to earn their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at the University of Oregon, studying from 1987 to 1990.
