The EPIX Lab focuses on answering timely, feasible, impactful applied health services research questions. We leverage diverse data sources, epidemiological methods, and community partnerships as an interdisciplinary team to maximize knowledge mobilization.

Currently, EPIX’s research involves evaluating public health policies and gaps in health service delivery, with a focus on infectious diseases (syphilis, HIV/AIDS, and SARS-CoV-2) and chronic liver conditions (steatotic liver disease (SLD) and hepatitis C).

Collaboration, advocacy, and community are central to the EPIX Lab's research. Our goal is to help inform public health decision-making. Therefore, we partner with a vast network of healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and individuals with lived experiences.
