Gero Kummer

Gero Kummer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gero currently holds the position of Vice President Digital Business at EPLAN, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at PayPal, where they held the roles of Director Strategic Growth Management / Director Austria & Switzerland from April 2019 to September 2022, and Head of Strategic Growth Management / Head of Austria & Switzerland from April 2014 to March 2019. Before PayPal, they had positions at eBay, where they served as Senior Manager Seller Transformation Europe from July 2013 to March 2014, and Manager Seller Marketing and Communications Europe from November 2009 to June 2013. Gero also has experience at Hugin / Thomson Reuters as Head of Broadcast Services in 2008, Lansinoh Laboratories Inc. as PR & Sales Manager in 2007, MDKK Mitteldeutsche Kommunikations- und Kongressgesellschaft as Head of Communications in 2007, and Hugin as a Consultant and Head of Media Department from 2003 to 2006.

Gero Kummer holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies from Leipzig University. Gero also completed a Mini MBA program at Birkbeck, University of London.
