EPLAN
Ian Pope has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ian started their career at Varcol as an Electrical Designer Engineer in 1992, and then worked at Beamech Group Ltd as an Electrical Design Engineer from 1997 to 1999. Ian later joined Croda as an Electrical Design Engineer from 1999 to 2002. Ian then transitioned to Beamech Group Ltd as a Technical Sales Manager from 2002 to 2004, and subsequently became the Technical Director at ALP Equipment Ltd from 2004 to 2008.
In 2008, Ian joined EPLAN Software & Services NV/SA as the Head of Professional Services, where they ensured successful completion of projects, exceeded customer expectations, and managed all related activities and resources. Ian remained with EPLAN until 2013, during which they became the Professional Services Business Director, Americas & Northern Europe at EPLAN. In 2014, they took on the role of Professional Services Director Northern Europe & Russia at EPLAN Software & Service GmbH & Co. KG, where they served until 2017.
Throughout their career, Ian has showcased their expertise in technical and sales roles, demonstrating their ability to lead and deliver successful projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ian Pope attended Tameside College of Technology from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a HND in Electrical Engineering.
