Echo Liu has a diverse and extensive work experience in publishing and marketing. Echo started their career as an Editorial Director and Managing Director at NOI Publishing Company, where they launched an editorial department and planned, edited, and published over 100 books. Echo then worked as an Editorial Director and Senior Journalist at Travel & Leisure Magazine, where they were responsible for subject planning, topic selection, interviewing, writing, editing, reporting, and sometimes marketing and magazine promotion. Echo also worked as an Editor at The Beijing News and as a Freelance Editor/Writer at Tsinghua University Press and other publishing institutions. At The Epoch Times, they held various roles such as VP Marketing & Sales in Seattle, Website Editor, and Marketing & Sales Manager. Most recently, Echo served as the Deputy Publisher at Elite Magazine. Echo'sexpertise includes market strategy and planning, public relations, communications, business development, event planning & sponsorship, branding, advertising, content marketing, public speaking, editing, reporting, and topic planning.
Echo Liu completed their education at several institutions. Echo earned a Bachelor's degree in an unspecified field of study from Nankai University, which they attended from 1991 to 1995. In 1997 and 1998, they pursued Press and Publication Management at China Press and Publication Bureau. Later on, they enrolled at the University of Washington, where they obtained a Master's degree in Communication from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Echo Liu obtained a Reporter Credential from The Epoch Times in 2011 and a Bilingual Tour Guide Certification from the China National Tourism Administration in 1995.
