Florian Duerr

Agile Project Lead PCR at Eppendorf

Florian Duerr has a diverse work experience in the areas of project management, engineering, and research and development. Florian started their career at TRIOPTICS GmbH in 2006 as an R&D and design engineer for optical testing. In 2007, they joined Eppendorf Group as a Junior project manager in R&D and later transitioned to become a Project Engineer for thermal mixers. In 2013, Florian became a Senior project manager in PCR at Eppendorf Group, and in 2018 they took on the role of Agile project lead.

Florian Duerr received their PhD in Applied Optics from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology from 1994 to 2000. Florian Duerr's earlier education included studying at Gymnasium Othmarschen, where they obtained their Abitur degree in 1993.
