Sonia Afroz

Sonia Afroz is a seasoned marketing and business development professional with extensive experience in the life sciences sector. Currently serving as the Marketing Manager at Eppendorf Group since December 2019, Sonia previously held the position of Senior Business Development Manager at Jali Medical, where collaboration with the Executive Team led to new scientific partnerships and oversight of contract processes. Sonia's earlier roles include Senior Scientist at the NIH Centers for Collaborative Research in Fragile X, where strategic leadership resulted in $35 million in grant funding, and various research positions at notable institutions such as Columbia University and Yale School of Medicine. Sonia holds a PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a BASc in Biology from Brooklyn College.
