Ying Yang

Ying Yang is a Senior Research Scientist at Eppendorf Group since May 2017, leading diverse projects in microbial fermentation involving various bacterial and fungal species. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Scientist focused on bioprocess development and providing technical support, as well as an Exchange Scientist at Eppendorf AG Bioprocess Center Europe. Prior to Eppendorf, Ying Yang worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher at LSU AgCenter, engaging in USDA-funded research on Clostridium fermentation for butanol production, and has held multiple research and teaching positions during a PhD and MS at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and North Carolina State University. Ying Yang’s academic achievements include a PhD in Biotechnology and a Master's in Biological and Agricultural Engineering.
