Ran de Silva

Ran de Silva has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Ran started their career as a Design Engineer at Plessey in 1980 and then moved on to work as a Hardware Design Engineer at GPT for 10 years. In 1995, they joined Siemens as a Principal Design Engineer for three years. Ran then worked at Arrow as a Programmable Logic Specialist before becoming a Technical Sales BDM at NETS Group in 1999. Currently, they are working at EPSGlobal as a Business Unit Manager, where they manage semiconductor and component design-in activities and develops business with Tier 1 Automotive ADAS OEMs and ODMs. In addition, they oversee the EPS technical support team to help ODMs transition into production.

Ran de Silva completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Nottingham Trent University, from 1983 to 1987. Prior to that, they attended Royal, Colombo, although the dates and specifics of their degree and field of study are not provided.
