Epsilon Eta was founded in 2006 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the nation’s first professional environmental fraternity. What started as a small group of students brought together by a shared passion for the environment has grown, over the past two decades, into a national organization with 18 thriving chapters making good for the earth across the country. Throughout its history, Epsilon Eta has remained grounded in its pillars of volunteerism, sustainability, professional development, social connection, and DEI.

Our fraternity is beyond proud to unite students across IU’s campus from unique backgrounds strung together through common values and a love for making the environment a better place for you and I. From planting trees and facilitating park clean-ups to collaborating with the IUB Dining Halls and IU Student Government in pursuit of increasing composting efforts on campus, we are always seeking innovative ways to contribute to the community. Furthermore, we as a chapter are committed to gathering and incorporating new perspectives from our brothers and fellow community members as we pursue community engagement with intention.
