Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and forensic medical services. Currently serving as the Director of Medical Services and Director of Emergency Medicine at Epworth since January 2016, Ryan also holds fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. Additionally, Ryan contributes as a Clinical Associate Professor at Deakin University and a Forensic Medical Officer with the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, as well as providing custodial medical services for the Victoria Police Force. Ryan's background includes leadership roles in emergency medicine training and education at Mercy Health and The University of Notre Dame Australia. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Forensic Medicine and a Masters in Health Services Management from Monash University, along with a Diploma of Management from Victoria University.
