Jan Hauben

Jan Hauben is a seasoned professional in the nuclear and engineering sectors, currently serving as Chef Engineering at EPZ since May 2020, where responsibilities include ageing management and thermo-mechanical engineering. Jan is also an active member of the IAEA IGALL SC and WG1, as well as FROG. Prior roles include Senior Ingenieur Engineering with a focus on ageing management at EPZ and System Specialist OLE at ProRail. Experience spans design engineering in high voltage systems at TUC RAIL, with involvement in CENELEC SC9 XC committees. Jan's academic credentials include a PhD candidacy in Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven, non-linear finite elements coursework from the University of Liège, and a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from KU Leuven.
