John Oostdijk is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and emergency services. Currently serving as a Technicus Chemie at EPZ since February 2024, John is responsible for sampling and analyzing various water samples within the nuclear power plant. Concurrently, John has held roles as a volunteer firefighter and Rope Rescue Technician with Veiligheidsregio Zeeland since 2007, specializing in tunnel fire fighting and emergency rescue operations. Previously, John has extensive experience as a Research Scientist and Engineer at Agilent Technologies and Varian, respectively, focusing on gas chromatography and related analytical techniques. John has also contributed to numerous research projects at TNO Defence, Scott Specialty Gases, and other organizations. John holds relevant educational qualifications from Avans University of Applied Sciences, NCOI Opleidingen, and Delft University of Technology.
