Sam Robb

Sam Robb has amassed significant work experience in various roles and companies throughout their career. Starting in 2009 at Outlook - Bespoke Windows & Doors, they served as a Business Development Manager and achieved notable accomplishments such as increasing sales revenue and winning tenders for large commercial contractors.

In 2013, Sam joined CPA Australia as a Sales Consultant before transitioning to Robert Half Technology in 2014. At Robert Half Technology, they held multiple positions, including Consultant, Senior Consultant, and eventually Division Manager. Sam'sresponsibilities involved leading a team of Technical Recruiters, sourcing and placing candidates in the contract software development field.

In 2018, Sam joined A Cloud Guru as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they played a crucial role in hiring Engineering and Content talent. As the company grew, they took on the role of Talent Acquisition Lead, responsible for leading a team in finding new Gurus across the US and Australia. During this time, Sam implemented various process improvements, created training programs, and automated recruiting reports.

In 2021, A Cloud Guru was acquired by Pluralsight, and Sam became a Senior Technical Recruiter at Pluralsight. Sam eventually moved to Mr Yum, where they served as a Senior Lead in Technical Talent Acquisition.

Most recently, in 2022, Sam joined EQL as the Manager of Talent Acquisition. With a well-rounded background in talent acquisition and recruitment, they bring valuable skills and experience to their current role.

Sam Robb began their education at Cleeve School from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued A Levels in Product Design, Business Studies, and Computing. Sam then attended Bournemouth University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Product Design with a focus on Industrial and Product Design.

In addition to their formal education, Sam has obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they completed courses in "Analyze Data with SQL" and "Learn SQL" from Codecademy. Sam also obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2019.
