Alex Shmitko

Alex Shmitko has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alex currently works at EQS Group as the Head of Data Services // Product, where they are directly responsible for four products and indirectly responsible for product culture in the whole IR Cockpit set of products. Alex has launched new products, implemented a culture shift, and focused on scalability, flexibility, and automation. Prior to this, they served as the VP Product at Yandex.Taxi, overseeing supply-side products for the marketplace and achieving key revamps and relaunches. Alex also worked as the VP Product at Emerging Travel Group, managing B2B and B2C hotel OTA brands. Additionally, they have experience as a Relationship Manager at Alfa-Bank, a Business Assistant/Intern at PET Engineering, and an Analyst at KPMG.

Alex Shmitko began their education at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) MFA Russia MGIMO in 2005 and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Regional Studies. Continuing their studies at the same institution, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Economics, which they completed in 2011.
