Marco Ermini has extensive work experience in the field of information security and compliance. ℳarco is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer at EQS Group, where they are responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of data, systems, and services. In this role, they design and implements security strategies, policies, and frameworks, leads and mentors security teams, manages security incidents and audits, and advises senior management and clients on security best practices and solutions.

Before joining EQS Group, Marco was a member of the SANS CISO Network, a platform for CISOs and senior security professionals to share ideas and lessons-learned. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Information Security and Compliance Officer (ISCO) Consultant at Orange Business Services, where they served as the primary customer contact for all security-related subjects.

Marco also has experience working at Telefónica Germany, ResMed, Vodafone Group Services GmbH, Reply, Freelance, Nuovo Pignone S.p.A., and CSI Piemonte. In these roles, they held various positions such as Senior Security Architect, Senior IT Security Analyst, Security Architect, Network Security Manager, Service Integrator Specialist, and IT Consultant.

ℳarco ℇrmini completed an Executive Master in International Management and Strategy at CIMBA from 2021 to 2022, with a focus on Business Administration and Management.

In 2021, ℳarco ℇrmini pursued a Cybersecurity Professional Certification as part of a Master in Information Security at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.

Also in 2021, ℳarco ℇrmini obtained a Chief Risk Officer Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. The certificate focused on Enterprise Risk Governance.
