Aaron Bauer

Aaron Bauer has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Aaron started their career as a Summer Intern at vSpring Capital in 2006, where they improved the financial forecast of one of the firm's technology portfolio companies. Aaron then worked as a Senior Associate at Rothstein Kass from 2007 to 2011, managing engagement teams and leading the audit of an energy hedge fund client. From 2011 to 2013, Aaron worked at KKR as a Manager, reviewing daily liquidity and leading communications with the accounting administrator. Aaron joined EQT Corporation in 2014 as a Business Analyst and later held roles as a Business Specialist and Senior Business Specialist. In these roles, they developed macros, created a comprehensive forecast charts model, and managed the company's corporate model. Their responsibilities included updating forecasts, running sensitivities, and evaluating corporate impacts of transactions. Aaron's most recent role at EQT Corporation is as a Lead Business Specialist in Corporate Finance, where they continue to utilize their VBA skills and macro development expertise.

Aaron Bauer has an extensive education history. In 2005, they began their studies at Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Aaron completed their undergraduate education in 2007.

Following their undergraduate studies, Aaron pursued further education and enrolled in the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University in 2013. Aaron spent two years at the school and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. During their time at Carnegie Mellon University, their coursework focused on Strategy, Finance, and Organizational Behavior.

In addition to their formal education, Aaron has acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In November 2013, they obtained a certification in Corporate Valuation from Training The Street. In January 2014, they obtained a certification in LBO Modeling from Pillars of Wall Street. Aaron also acquired certifications in Financial Modeling and M&A/LBO Analysis from Training The Street in April 2014.

More recently, in December 2022, Aaron completed the SQL Fundamentals Track certification from DataCamp. It is also worth noting that Aaron holds the designation of Certified Public Accountant (inactive), obtained from the State of California in December 2009.
