David Khani

David Khani has extensive work experience in finance and energy sectors. David currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at EQT Corporation since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at CONSOL Energy from March 2013 to January 2020, where they held the position of EVP and CFO. During their tenure at CONSOL Energy, they successfully transformed the company into a prominent Marcellus and Utica E&P company and created two additional MLPs. David also spun out the coal business into a standalone C-Corp with a global reach.

Before joining CONSOL Energy, David Khani worked at FBR Capital Markets from February 2007 to July 2011 as a Senior Managing Director and Director of Research. In this role, they built an energy team and managed a team of 80 analysts/associates across various industry verticals. David also had significant expertise in global commodity research, specifically in natural gas, coal, iron ore, and steel. Additionally, they achieved recognition for stock picking in the metals and mining group by ranking third in the Wall Street Journal in 2005. During their time at FBR Capital Markets, they also played a key role in raising over $3 billion in capital.

David Khani earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Binghamton University, graduating in 1985. David then went on to pursue their MBA in Corporate Accounting and Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, completing their studies in 1993. Additionally, they hold a certification from the CFA Institute, but the details regarding its date of attainment are not provided.
