Derek Brown

Derek Brown is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and infrastructure, currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure at EQT Corporation since December 2018. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Identity and Access Management Manager at PNC and worked as a Security Strategist for an Independent Security Advisor, where significant contributions included developing a five-year strategic security program for a Critical Infrastructure Service Provider. As Chief Information Security Officer at Allegheny Health Network from 2009 to 2017, Derek also oversaw the Business Intelligence and Application Development team and the Corporate Applications and IT Finance team, while playing a pivotal role during AHN's acquisition by Highmark Health. Additional experience includes leadership roles at the National Cyber-Forensics & Training Alliance and VigilantMinds, along with consulting positions and technical roles in various organizations. Derek earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Drexel University.
