Jeffrey Steele has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple industries and roles. Jeffrey started their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as an enlisted service member and achieved the rank of Gunnery Sergeant (E-7). During their time in the Marine Corps, they held various positions, including Aviation Ground Company Grade Monitor, CNAF Global Logistics Manager, Aviation Logistics Officer, Fiscal Officer, and Aviation Logistics Officer.

After leaving the military, Steele transitioned to the private sector and worked as a Drilling Engineer at BP, where they designed and implemented drilling procedures and supervised a team of employees. Jeffrey then joined EP Energy as a Completions Field Supervisor, where they managed all aspects of projects during the completions phase and provided leadership to field and site supervisors, subcontractors, and engineers.

In their next role at Rice Energy, Steele served as an Operations Engineer responsible for managing and optimizing the Master Operations Schedule for Appalachia operations. Jeffrey played an integral role in establishing a schedule of operations to meet the company's operational goals.

Steele later joined EQT Corporation, where they held multiple positions. As a Principal Engineer, they worked with various departments to map out digital processes and develop a roadmap for implementing digital solutions. Jeffrey also created an online schedule for upstream operations using Smartsheet. In their role as a Manager of Data Governance & Advanced Analytics, Steele established the first Data Analytics and Data Science team in the organization and implemented the use of R Shiny and R Markdown for reporting. Currently, they serve as the Director of Business Intelligence, where they embed data-driven decision-making into the business and defines data requirements and strategy for the company.

Jeffrey Steele's education history begins with their undergraduate degree. From 1999 to 2003, they attended The Citadel, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering.
