John Bane has extensive experience in government affairs and public relations, currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs at EQT Corporation since November 2016. Prior to this role, Bane was a Senior Advisor at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC from August 2014 to November 2016 and served as the Assistant Director of Government Relations at the Pennsylvania State Education Association from November 2008 to August 2014. Bane's earlier positions include Deputy Director of the Governor’s Office of Public Liaison in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (2006-2008) and Constituent Service Representative for Congressman Tim Holden in the U.S. House of Representatives (2002-2006). Bane earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Commonwealth University-Mansfield, attending from 1998 to 2002.
