Technical Director at Equal Access

Laurelle May currently serves as the Technical Director at Equal Access International, overseeing the FCDO and EU funded programme Nabadaynta Somalia, focused on enhancing security and justice access in Southwest and Jubaland states. Previously, as Programme Manager for Magenta, Laurelle led the development of programs in the Middle East, integrating behavioral insights and addressing local post-conflict needs. Laurelle's experience also includes a role at Three Stones Inter, managing diverse development projects with a focus on social behavioral change and evaluation methodologies, as well as serving as Head of Content and Production for Girl Effect in Rwanda, where impactful multimedia interventions for adolescent empowerment were executed. Additional background includes positions at adam&eveDDB as an Integrated Producer, contributing to high-profile campaigns, and various roles in production assistance across media and entertainment. Laurelle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) from the University of Auckland and a Diploma in TV Production from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.
