We're a Black-led, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to build Black political power in Florida and across the South. Our core issues focus on voting rights, civic engagement, racial justice, and protecting democracy. We are deeply invested in increasing Black civic participation and addressing the systemic barriers that suppress Black voices in the political process. Equal Ground focuses on civic engagement and education, legislative advocacy, redistricting and representation, community power building, and youth advocacy and engagement.

We do this work through direct voter contact and deep community relationships.
