Allan Simas

Allan Simas currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Equal Optics, where responsibilities include EEPROM programming and testing of various optical transceivers to ensure functionality and compatibility with networking equipment. Prior to this role, Allan was involved with The Optical Society as a member, contributing to advancements in optics and photonics. Allan also held supervisory positions at Approved Networks, Inc., where similar tasks related to optical transceivers were performed. Additional experience includes roles as a Merchandise Supervisor at Wal-Mart, a Computer IT at Source Enterprises, and a Superintendent at D.R. Horton. Allan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance and an Associate's Degree in Web Publishing from the American Public University System.
