Imran Bashir

Imran Bashir has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Imran is currently the VP of Analog Engineering at equal1.labs, where they lead the IC design team and focuses on system architecture and IC design of cryogenic electronics for silicon qubit manipulation. Prior to this, Imran worked as a Principal IC Design Engineer at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation from 2016 to 2019. Imran also held the role of a Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer at Senseeker Engineering, Inc. from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on analog front end design for infra-red image sensors. Imran has also worked as a Visiting Researcher at University College Dublin (UCD) in 2015 and as an RFIC Verification Engineer at NVIDIA from 2009 to 2014. Imran started their career as an RF Systems Engineer at Texas Instruments from 2002 to 2009.

Imran Bashir's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington from 1998 to 2001. Imran then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, which spanned from 2009 to 2014. Currently, they are attending San Jose State University to study Quantum Computing, without mention of a specific degree.
