Ricky Cornish

Ricky Cornish has a diverse work history spanning several media companies. Starting in 2016, they worked as an On-Air Host and Social Media Personality at KSHP AM 1400's "The Radio Shopping Show," where they sold products on-air, recorded commercials, and hosted a digital segment. In 2018, Ricky became a Lifestyle Reporter and Production Intern at KTNV Channel 13 Action News, covering local family events and red carpet events. During this time, they also worked as an On-Air Contributor and Promotions/Digital Assistant at Entercom, where they gained experience in event setup and production, as well as on-air and digital work. In 2019, Ricky took on the roles of Lifestyle Reporter and Production Intern at KPHO - A Meredith Corporation, creating their own segment and assisting with the production of "Your Life Arizona." Ricky also joined Arizona PBS as a Weatherman and TV Reporter, handling weekly forecasts, producing news packages, and managing social media. In addition, Ricky worked as a Videographer and Social Media Manager for the ASU Watts College of Public Service & Community Solutions, creating recruitment videos, graphics, and news stories. Most recently, Ricky served as Editorial Director and Host at Celebrity Page TV, where they established relationships with major media outlets and oversaw daily workflow. Currently, Ricky is Chief Booker & Host at equalpride, managing bookings for various LGBTQIA+ media outlets and producing video segments for publications.

Ricky Cornish pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Arizona State University - Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Ricky attended the institution from 2017 to 2019.
