Matthew Fowler

Matthew Fowler is an experienced financial analyst with a career spanning over two decades in the finance industry. Currently serving as an Analyst at Equatex Global since February 2015, Matthew specializes in financial analysis and modeling, with a focus on private equity investor reporting for Montagu. Prior to this role, Matthew spent over 12 years at UBS, where responsibilities included the design and implementation of systems for complex deferred compensation schemes and client management. Earlier positions include a contract analyst role at Housing New Zealand Corporation, where involvement in private finance initiatives and securitizations took place, as well as a project management role at Westpac. Matthew’s foundational experience includes business analysis at Clearstream and securities lending at Salomon Brothers, supporting large-scale projects and enhancing operational reporting processes. Education was attained at Victoria University of Wellington.
