Max Griffin has 30 years of experience in industry, consultancy, financial services, international development, and central government, specializing in environmental, social, and human rights (ESHR) standards. As the CEO of the Equator Principles since May 2023, Max leads initiatives focused on sustainability and risk management, building on a proven track record that includes senior roles at UK Export Finance and Golder Associates. Max has provided technical advice on the Equator Principles since their inception and played a key role in UKEF's adoption of these standards. Max holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Bristol and a Master of Science from Imperial College London.
